Welcome to Aishwarya Trust
Hearty Welcome to the Aishwarya Trust website! Our charitable Trust was founded in March 2008 in Chennai, India. Although we are a broad based organization, our focus at the moment is to assist families whose children are suffering from congenital heart defects. It is devastating enough that hundreds of thousands of children are born every year with severe congenital heart defects, what makes it worse in India is that many parents cannot afford to pay for their children's treatment. With timely corrective surgery, these children have a chance of leading a normal life and also excelling in any field, including sports. Therefore, we have made it Aishwarya Trust's mission to provide financial assistance to enable these children to get corrective surgeries done at leading private hospitals. We feel that each child deserves the best available treatment.
My father K.Nagarajan is the founder, supporter and backbone of the Trust.
Aishwarya Trust was founded with the inspiration of a friend and in the memory of my beautiful daughter Aishwarya, whom we lost to a congenital heart defect. My personal life-changing experience with Aishwarya has made this cause very real, meaningful and worthwhile for me.
Encouraged by the generosity of our donors, we are determined to increase the magnitude of our assistance in the future. We hope that you will spend some time on this website, learn more about our organization and get involved in some way. In whichever way you decide to help us, whether financially or in any other manner, we urge you to stay in touch with the Aishwarya Trust.
We thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Chitra Viswanathan
